2. Englishphantom; illusion; ghost: An object that looks like another or seems to exist although it is not real due to an illusion stemming from mental and physical weakness.

   신체나 정신이 약해져 착각이 일어나, 없는데 있는 것처럼, 또는 다른 것처럼 보이는 물체.

   • 그는 헛것이라도 본 사람처럼 갑자기 소리를 질러 댔다.
   • 그는 자꾸 눈앞에 헛것이 나타난다며 의사에게 괴로움을 호소했다.
   • 헛것이 나타나다.
