1. Englishoh; whoa; aah: An exclamation uttered when the speaker is aching, exhausted, vexed, or stunned.

   매우 아프거나 힘들거나 분하거나 기막힐 때 내는 소리.

   • 어이쿠, 벌써 시간이 이렇게 되다니. 얼른 집에 가야겠어.

2. Englishoh; wow; yay: An exclamation uttered when the speaker feels very glad or good.

   매우 반갑거나 좋을 때 내는 소리.

   • 어이쿠, 이게 웬 떡이야. 사은품에 당첨되었어.
   • 어이쿠, 그거 참 신기하네!

3. Englishoh no; aw: An exclamation uttered when the speaker feels so discouraged or frustrated.

   매우 절망하거나 좌절할 때 내는 소리.

   • 어이쿠, 이제 다 틀렸어. 더 이상 손 쓸 방법도 없는 걸.
