1. English-yeotsseot-: An ending of a word used to indicate a past event that is different from the present or does not continue to the present.

   현재와 비교하여 다르거나 현재로 이어지지 않는 과거의 사건을 나타내는 어미.

   • 승규는 중학교 때까지 공부를 잘했었다.
   • 전에 다니던 회사에서는 회식을 자주 했었다.
