1. English-atsseot-: An ending of a word used for a past event that is different from the present or does not continue to the present.

   현재와 비교하여 다르거나 현재로 이어지지 않는 과거의 사건을 나타내는 어미.

   • 유민이는 초등학교 때 키가 작았었다.
   • 승규는 중학교 때까지 대전에 살았었다.
   • 지난 주말에 기분도 전환할 겸 부산에 갔었다.
