1. English-rose: (formal, moderately addressee-lowering) A sentence-final ending used to describe the speaker's thoughts or indicate that he/she is impressed by a newly learned fact.

   (예사 낮춤으로) 말하는 사람의 생각을 서술하거나 무엇을 새롭게 알았다는 감탄을 나타내는 종결 어미.

   • 저 양반은 힘이 장사로세그려.
   • 봄이 되니 산과 들에 진달래가 한창이로세.
   • 자네와 함께 하는 자리가 나에게는 큰 영광이로세.
