-다느냐

1. English-daneunya: (formal, highly addressee-lowering) An expression used to ask the listener something the speaker heard from another person to cross-check the information.

   (아주낮춤으로) 다른 사람에게 들어서 아는 사실을 듣는 사람에게 확인하듯이 묻는 표현.

   • 지수는 지금 어디에 있다느냐.
   • 민준이는 어디가 아프다느냐.
   • 뭐가 그리 슬프다느냐.
