-는다는데도

1. English-neundaneundedo: An expression used to convey what the speaker heard or someone's opinion, implying that there is a contradictory situation later in the sentence.

   들었거나 주장한 사실을 전달하면서 뒤에 그와 반대되는 상황이 이어짐을 나타내는 표현.

   • 사례는 안 받는다는데도 굳이 주시더라고.
   • 난 술을 못 먹는다는데도 자꾸 권하는 사람이 너무 싫어.
   • 사람들한테 그렇게 쌀쌀맞게 굴면 다 잃는다는데도 말을 안 듣네.
