1. English-nyanikkaneun: (informal addressee-lowering) An expression used to repeat the question the speaker asked earlier, when the listener did not answer.

   (두루낮춤으로) 듣는 사람이 질문에 대답하지 않는 경우 말하는 사람이 자신의 질문을 다시 한번 강조함을 나타내는 표현.

   • 어디가 아프냐니까는?
   • 뭐가 그렇게 웃기냐니까는?
   • 뭐 때문에 기분이 안 좋았냐니까는?

2. English-nyanikkaneun: An expression used to quote the question the speaker or another person asked and add his/her response or answer.

   자신이나 다른 사람의 질문에 대한 상대의 대답이나 반응 등을 뒤에 오는 말에 이어 말할 때 쓰는 표현.

   • 민준이에게 학생이냐니까는 아니래요.
   • 그 여자는 머리가 기냐니까는 그렇대요.
   • 지수에게 오늘도 바쁘냐니까는 대답도 안 하고 나가네요.
