1. English-ndadeonde: An expression used to mention what the speaker heard from another person and relate it to the following content.

   다른 사람으로부터 들은 사실을 언급하면서 뒤의 내용을 관계 지어 말함을 나타내는 표현.

   • 회의 장소를 바꾼다던데 알고 있어요?
   • 이 비누를 쓰면 피부가 좋아진다던데 한번 써 보세요.
   • 그 사람은 코를 곤다던데 어떻게 그 사람과 같은 방에서 자요?

2. English-ndadeonde: (informal addressee-lowering) An expression used to indirectly express what the speaker wants to say, by conveying what the speaker heard, in an unfinished sentence.

   (두루낮춤으로) 이전에 들은 사실을 여운을 남기면서 전달함으로써 말하고자 하는 바를 간접적으로 나타낼 때 쓰는 표현.

   • 지수가 내일 고향으로 떠난다던데.
   • 내일 일본에서 친구가 온다던데.
   • 다섯 살이면 말도 제법 잘한다던데.
