1. Englishcommunications satellite: An artificial satellite made to send back radio waves sent from the earth after reflecting or amplifying them, so that people can communicate with others who are far away.

   아주 멀리 떨어져 있는 곳과 통신할 수 있도록 지구에서 보내온 전파를 반사하거나 더 크게 만들어 내보내는 인공위성.
