1. Englishremaining in office: The state of remaining or having one remain in the same position, after the restructuring of an organization, or at the end of one's term, or such an act.

   조직을 개편하거나 임기가 끝날 때 그 자리나 직위에 그대로 머무르거나 머무르게 함. 또는 그런 일.

   • 그는 유임을 간곡히 원했으나 나는 결국 사표를 던지고 회사를 나왔다.
   • 부장님은 나에게는 이 사건에 대한 직접적인 책임이 없다고 보아 회사에 유임을 요청했다.
   • 유임이 되다.
