1. Englishnutrition; nutrient: The process of maintaining life and developing the body by absorbing the energy and substance necessary for a living thing to live and function, or the components necessary for this.

   생물이 활동하고 살아가는 데 필요한 에너지와 물질을 받아들여 생명을 유지하고 몸을 성장시키는 작용. 또는 그것을 위하여 필요한 성분.

   • 사람은 알맞게 영양을 보충해 주어야 건강한 생활을 할 수 있다.
   • 영양은 반드시 좋고 비싼 음식에서만 섭취할 수 있는 것은 아니다.
   • 가난했던 시절에는 영양이 좋지 않은 아이들이 많았다.
