1. Englishbe summoned: For a person related to a case such as a defendant, reference, witness, etc., to be ordered by the court, prosecution, etc., to come to a certain place, at a certain time, on a certain date.

   피고인, 참고인, 증인 등의 소송 관계인이 법원이나 검찰 등으로부터 일정한 일시에 지정한 장소로 오라는 명령을 받다.

   • 이 씨는 그 사건의 증인 자격으로 법원에 소환되었다.
   • 회사 공금을 횡령한 김 씨는 검찰로 소환되어 조사를 받았다.
   • 검찰에 소환되다.
