이야기를 하는 사람과 듣는 사람을 제외한 다른 사람이나 물건을 가리키는 말.
- 한국어와 달리 영어에서는 삼인칭 대명사를 많이 사용한다.
- 지수는 자기의 이야기인데도 마치 다른 사람이 말하는 것처럼 보이도록 삼인칭으로 글을 썼다.
- 삼인칭 단수.
