   사람이 무더위에 대하여 느끼는 불쾌감의 정도를 기온과 습도의 관계로 나타내는 수치.

   • 온도와 습도가 높으면 불쾌지수도 높다.
   • 아스팔트의 지열과 습기로 인한 끈적거림은 불쾌지수를 높인다.
   • 장마철이라 날씨가 후덥지근하고 습해 불쾌지수가 많이 올라갔다.
