1. Englishcold-blooded animal; poikilotherm: An animal whose temperature changes depending on the outdoor temperature, due to its inability to adjust its temperature.

   체온을 조절하는 능력이 없어서 바깥 온도에 따라 몸의 온도가 달라지는 동물.

   • 악어는 변온 동물로 온도 및 환경 변화에 민감하다.
   • 날씨가 추워지면 개구리와 같은 변온 동물은 겨울잠을 잔다.
   • 동물은 온도 변화에 따라 체온이 일정한 정온 동물과 변온 동물로 나뉜다.
