1. Englishtraffic congestion; traffic jam: A state in which there are not enough traffic means or the roads are congested, slowing or blocking the traffic; or the difficulties caused by such a state.

   교통수단이 모자라거나 도로가 너무 붐벼서 통행이 제대로 이루어지지 않는 상태. 또는 그런 어려움.

   • 서울은 인구가 밀집되어 날로 교통난이 심각해지고 있다.
   • 우리 동네는 지하철의 개통으로 교통난이 크게 해소되었다.
   • 극심한 교통난.
