Englishdouble final consonants: A combination of two different consonants in the Korean alphabet such as 'ㄺ' and 'ㄶ', which is put below a vowel.
한글에서 'ㄺ', 'ㄶ' 처럼 서로 다른 두 개의 자음으로 이루어지고 모음 아래에 받쳐서 적는 글자.
- 아이는 받아쓰기를 할 때 늘 겹받침 중 하나를 빠뜨려 적곤 했다.
- 그 외국인 학생은 겹받침까지 익혀 받침이 들어 있는 낱말은 모두 읽을 수 있었다.
